未来は誰のものでしょか？

　「子供たちのもの」に、異論はないでしょう。

　では、私のような人生の半ば以上が過ぎてしまった者には、未来はないのでしょうか？

　未来を諦めなければいけないのでしょうか？

　未来は子供たちのものであることの理由の一つは、子供たちの方が長生きするということでしょう。

　しかしながら、もう一つの理由を聞いたことがあります。

　それは、むしろ、子供たちが素直だからこそ、未来が子供たちを待ちうけているという理由です。

　であれば、大人も、素直になれば、未来は大人を受け入れてくれるのではないでしょうか？

　私は、夢は美しいということを信じています。

　であれば、未来は私たちにも開放されています。
