Upright; he feared God and shunned evil. He had seven sons and three daughters, and he

" At this my heart pounds and leaps from its place .Listen! Listen to the roar of his voice,
to the rumbling that comes from his mouth. He unleashes his lightning beneath the whole heaven and sends it to the ends of the earth. After that comes the sound of his roar;
he thunders with his majestic voice. When his voice resounds, he holds nothing back.

chamber, the cold from the driving winds. The breath of God produces ice, and the broad waters become frozen. He loads the clouds with moisture; he scatters his lightning through them. At this direction they swirl around over the face of the whole earth to do whatever he commands them. He brings the clouds to punish men, or to water his earth and show his love. Job 37:1~13

For forty days the flood kept coming on the earth, and as the waters incresed they lifted the ark high above the earth. The waters rose and increased greatly on the earth, and the ark floated on the surface of the water. They rose graetly on the earth,and alll the high montains under entire heavens wre coverd.
The waters rose and coverd the montains to a depth of more than twenty feet. Every living thing that moved on the earth perished-birds, livestock, wild animals, all creatures that swarm over the earth, and all mankind. Everything on dry land that had the breath of life in its nostrils died. Every living thing on the face of the earth was wiped out; men and animals and creatures that move along the groud and the birds of the air were wiped frm the earth. Only Noah was left, and those with him in the ark.
The waters flooded the earth for a hundred and fifty days.
Genesis 7:17~24
The water receded steadily from the earth. At the end of the hundred and fifty days the the water had gone down, and on the seventeenth day of the seventh month the ark came to rest on the montains of Ararat. The waters continued to recede until the tenth month, and on the the tops of the mountains became visible.
After forty days Noah opened the window he had made in the ark and sent out a raven, and it kept flying back and forth until the water had dried up from the earth.
Then he sent out a dove to see if the water had receded from the surface of the ground.
But the dobe could find no place to set its feet because there was water over all the surface of the earth;so it returned to Noah in the ark. He reached out his hand and took the dove and brought it back to himself in the ark. He waited seven more days and again sent out the dove from the ark. When the dove returnde to him in the evening, there in its beak was a freshly plucked olive leaf!Then Noah knew that the water had recdede from the earth. He waited seven more days and sent the dove out again, but this time it did not return to him. Genesis 8:3~12
Then God said to Noah, "Come out of the ark, you and your wife and your sons and their wives. Bring out every kind of living creature that is with you-the birds, the animals, and all the creatures that move the ground-so they can multiply on the earth and be friuitful and increase in number upon it." So Noah came out, together with his sonns and his wife and his sons'wives. All the animals and all the creatures that move along the ground and all the birds-eveything that moves on the earth-came out of the ark, one kind after another. Then Noah built an altar to the Lord and, taking some of all the clean animals and clean birds, he sacrificed burnt offerings on it. The Lord smelled the pleasing aroma and said in his heart: "Never again will I curse the ground because of man, eventhough every inclination of his heart is evil from chilhood. And never again will destroy all living creaturs, as I have done. As long as the earth endueres, seedtime and harvest, cold and heat, summer and winter , day and night will never crease." 箱舟：天国の様子、平和 鳩：聖霊の象徴

セムの子孫はエラム、アシェル、アルパクシャデ、ルデ、アラム。

アルパクシャデはシェラフを生み、シェラフはエベルを生んだ。エベルにはふたりの男の子が生まれ、ひとりの名はペレグであった。彼の時代に地が分けられたからである。もうひとりの兄弟の名はヨクタンであった。ヨクタンは、アルモダデ、シェレフ、ハツァルマベテ、エラフ、ハドラム、ウザル、ディクラ、オバル、アビマエル、シェバ、

Thus the heavens and the earth were completed in all their vast array.
By the seventh day God had finished the work he had been doing; so on the seventh day he rested from all his work. And God blessed the sevnth day and made it holy, because on it he rested the from all the work of creating that he had done.

When the Lord God made the earth and the heavens-and no-shrub of the field had yet appeared on the earth and no plant of the field had yet sprung up, for the Lord God had not sent rain on the earth and there was no man to work the ground, but streams came up from the earth and watered the whole surface of the ground -the Lord God formd the man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being. And the Lord God commanded the man, "You are free to eat from any tree in the garden; bur you must not eat ftom the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for when you eat of it you will surely die." Genesis 2:15~17
The Lord God said, "It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper suitable for him." Now the Lord God had formed out of the ground all the beasts of the field and all the birds of the air. He brought them to the man to see what he would name them; and whatever the man called each living creature, that was its name. So the man gave names to all the livestock, the birds of the air and all beasts of the field.But for Adam no suitable helper was found. So the Lord God caused the man to fall int a deep sleep; and while he was sleeping, he took one of the man's ribs and closed up the place with flesh. Then the Lord God made a woman from the rib he had taken out of the man, and he brought her to the man. The man said, "This is now bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh; she shall be called ‘woman'for she was taken out of man." For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and they will become one flesh.The man and his wife were both naked, and they felt no shame. Genesis 2:18~25
かみのついで神は、「水は生き物の群れが、群がるようになれ。また鳥は地の上、天の大空を飛べ。」と仰せられた。それで神は、海の巨獣と、その種類にしたがって、水に群がりうごくすべての生き物と、その種類にしたがって、翼のあるすべての鳥を創造された。神は見て、それをよしとされた。神はまた、それらを祝福して仰せられた。「生めよ。ふえよ。海の水に満ちよ。また鳥は、地にふえよ。」こうして、夕があり、朝があった。第五日。 創世記１：２０～２３ ついで神は、「地は、その種類にしたがって、生き物、家畜や、はうもの、その種類にしたがって野の獣を生ぜよ。」と仰せられた。するとそのようになった。神は、その種類にしたがって野の獣、その種類にしたがって家畜、その種類にしたがって地のすべてのはうものを造られた。神は見て、それをよしとされた。そして神は「われわれに似るように、われわれのかたちに、人を造ろう。そして彼らに、海の魚、空の鳥、家畜、地のすべてのもの、地をはうすべてのものを支配させよう。」と仰せられた。神はこのように、人をご自身のかたちに創造された。神のかたちに彼を創造し、男と女とに彼らを創造された。
神はまた、彼らを祝福し、このように神は彼らに仰せられた。「生めよ。ふえよ。地を満たせ。地を従えよ。海の魚、空の鳥、地をはうすべての生き物を支配せよ。」
ついで神は仰せられた。「見よ。わたしは、全地の上にあって、種を持つすべての草と、種を持って実を結ぶすべての木をあなたがたに与えた。それがあなたがたの食物となる。
また、地のすべての獣、空のすべての鳥、地をはうすべてのもので、いのちの息のあるもののために、食物として、すべての緑の草を与える。」すると、そのようになった。そのようにして神はお造りになったすべてのものをご覧になった。見よ。それは非常によかった。こうして夕があり、朝があった。第六日。 創世記 １：２４～３１
こうして、天と地とそのすべての万象が完成された。
それで神は、第七日目に、なさっていたわざの完成を告げられた。すなわち、第七日目に、なさっていたすべてのわざを休まれた。神はその第七日目を祝福し、この日を聖であるとされた。それは、その日に、神がなさっていたすべての創造のわざを休まれたからである。
これは天と地が創造されたとの経緯である。神である主が地と天を造られたとき、地には、まだ一本の野の潅木もなく、まだ一本の野の草も芽を出していなかった。それは、神である主が地上に雨を降らせず、土地を耕す人もいなかったからである。ただ、霧が地から立ち上り、土地の前面を潤していた。その後、神である主は、土地のちりで人を形作り、その鼻にいのちの息を吹き込まれた。そこで、人は、生き物となった。創世記 ２：１～７ 神である主は、人を取り、エデンの園に置き、そこを耕させ、またそこを守らせた。
神である主は、人に命じて仰せられた。「あなたは、園のどの木からでも思いのまま食べてもよい。しかし、善悪の知識の木からは取って食べてはならない。それを取って食べるその時、あなたは必ず死ぬ。」 創世記２：１５～１７
神である主は仰せられた。｢人が、ひとりでいるのは良くない。わたしは彼のために、彼にふさわしい助け手を造ろう。｣
神がある主が、土からあらゆる野の獣と、あらゆる空の鳥を形造られた時、それにどんな名を彼がつけるかを見るために、人のところに連れて来られた。人が、生き物につける名は、みな、それが、その名となった。こうして人は、すべての家畜、空の鳥、野のあらゆる獣に名をつけたが、人にはふさわしい助け手が、見あたらなかった。そこで神である主が、深い眠りをその人に下されたので彼は眠った。それで、彼のあばら骨の一つを取り、そのところの肉をふさがれた。こうして神である主は、人から取ったあばら骨を、ひとりの女に造り上げ、その女を人のところに連れて来られた。すると人は言った。「これこそ、今や、私の骨からの骨、私の肉からの肉。これを女と名づけよう。これは男から取られたのだから。」それゆえ、男はその父母を離れ、妻と結び合い、ふたりは一体となるのである。
そのとき、人とその妻は、ふたりとも裸であったが、互いに恥ずかしいと思わなかった。

In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters.And God said, "Let there be light," and there was light. God saw that the light was good, and he separated the light from the darkness. God called the light "day" , and the darkness he called"night". And there was evening, and there was morning-the first day. Genesis 1:1~5 And God said, "Let there be an expanse between the waters to separate water from water." So God made the expanse and separated the water under the expanse form the water above it. And it was so. God called the expanse "sky". And there was evening, and there was morning-the second day. Genesis１:6~8
And God said, "Let the water under the sky be gathered to one place, and let dry ground appear," And it was so.God called the dry ground "land", and the gatherd waters he called "saes". And God saw that it was good.Then God said, "Let the land produce vegetation: seed-bearing plants and trees on the land that bear fruit with send in it, according to their various kinds." The land produced vegetaion: plants bearing seed according to their kinds and trees bearing fruit with seed in it according to their kinds. And God saw that it was good. And there was evening, and there was morning-the third day. Genesis 1:9~13
14And God said,"Let there be lights in the expanse of the sky to separate the day from the night, and let them serve as signs to mark seasons and days and years, 15and let tbem be lights in the expanse of the sky to give lights on the earth." And it was so. 16God made two great light-the greater light to govern the day and the lesser light to govern the night. He also made the stars. 17God set them in the expanse of the sky to give light on the earth. 18to govern the day and the night , and to separate light from darkness. And God saw that it wsa good. 19And there was evening, and there was morning-the fourth day.
Genesis 1:14~19

神は「天の下の水は一所に集まれ。かわいた所が現れよ。」と仰せられた。するとそのようになった。神は、かわいた所を地と名づけ、水の集まった所を海と名づけられた。神は見て、それをよしとされた。神が、「地は食物、種を生じる草、種類にしたがって、その中に種のある実を結ぶ果樹を地の上に芽生えさせよ。」と仰せられると、そのようになった。
それで、地は食物、おのおのその種類にしたがって種を生じる草、おのおのその種類にしたがって、その中に種のある実を結ぶ木を生じた。神は見て、それをよしとされた。
こうして夕があり、朝があった。第三日。 創世記１：９～１３
ついで神は、「光る物は天の大空にあって、昼と夜とを区別せよ。しるしのため、季節のため、日のため、年のために、役立て。天の大空で光る物となり、地上を照らせ。」と仰せられた。するとそのようになった。それで神は二つの大きな光る物を造られた。大きいほうの光る物には昼をつかさどらせ、小さいほうの光の物には夜をつかさどらせた。また星を造られた。神はそれらを天の大空に置き、地上を照らさせ、また昼と夜とをつかさどり、光とやみとを区別するようにされた。神は見て、それをよしとされた。第四日。
創世記 １：１４～１９
" At this my heart pounds and leaps from its place .Listen! Listen to the roar of his voice, to the rumbling that comes from his mouth. He unleashes his lightning beneath the whole heaven and sends it to the ends of the earth. After that comes the sound of his roar;
he thunders with his majestic voice. When his voice resounds, he holds nothing back.
God's voice thunders in marvelous ways; he does great things beyond our understanding.
He says to the snow, ‘Fall on the earth,'and to the rain shower, ‘Be a mighty downpour.'So that all men he has made may know his work, he stops every man from his labour. The animals take cover; they remain in their dens. The tempest comes out from its
chamber, the cold from the driving winds. The breath of God produces ice, and the broad waters become frozen. He loads the clouds with moisture; he scatters his lightning through them. At this direction they swirl around over the face of the whole earth to do whatever he commands them. He brings the clouds to punish men, or to water his earth and show his love. Job 37:1~13
Then the Lord answered Job out of the storm. He said: Job 38:1
" Where were you when I laid the earth's foundation? Tell me, if you understand.
Job 38:4
" Have you journeyed to the springs of the sea or walked in the recesses of the deep?
Have the gates of death been shown to you? Have you seen the gates of the shadow of death? Have you comprehended the vast expanses of the earth? Tell me, if you know all this." What is the way to the abode of light? And where does darkness reside?

" Have you entered the storehouses of the snow or seen the storehouses of the hail,

神は、御声で驚くほどに雷鳴をとどろかせ、私たちの知りえない大きな事をされる。

死の門があなたに現れたことがあるのか。あなたは死の陰の門を見たことがあるのか。
あなたは地の広さを見きわめたことがあるのか。そのすべてを知っているなら、告げて
見よ。光の住む所に至る道はどこか。やみのあるその場所はどこか。

No earthquake like it has ever occurred since man has been on earth, so tremendous was the quake. 19 The great city split into three parts, and the cities of the nations collapsed. God remembered Babylon the Great and gave her the cup filled with the wine of the fury of his wrath. 20 Every island fled away and the mounatains could not be found. 21 From the sky huge hailstones of about a hundred pounds each fell upon men. And they cursed God on account of the plague of hail, because the plague was so terrible. Revelation 16:16~21
1 One of the seven angels who had the seven bowls came and said to me, " Come, I will
show you the punishment of the great prostitute, who sits on many waters. 2 With her the
kings of the earth committed adultery and the inhabitants of the earth were intoxicated
with the wine of her adulteries." 3 Then the angel carried me away in the Spirit into a
desert. There I saw a woman with blasphemous names and had seven heads and ten
horns. 4 The woman was dressed in purple and scarlet, and was glittering with gold,
precious stones and pearls. She held a golden cup in her hand, filled with abominable
things and the filth of her adulteries. Revelation 17:1~4 こうして彼らは、ヘブル後でハルマゲドンと呼ばれる所に王たちを集めた。１７第七の御使いが鉢を空中にぶちまけた。(最後の大決戦)すると、大きな声が御座を出て、聖所の中から出て来て、「事は成就した。」と言った。１８すると、いなずまろ声と雷鳴があり、大きな地震があった。この地震は人間が地上に住んで以来、かつてなかったほどのもので、それほどに大きな、強い地震(第三次世界大戦)であった。１９また、あの大きな都は三つに裂かれ、諸国の民の町町は倒れた。そして、大バビロンは、神の前に覚えられて、神の激しい怒りのぶどう酒の杯を与えられた。２０島はすべて逃げ去り(原子爆弾)、山々はみえなくなった。２１また、一タラントほどの大きな雹が、人々の上に天から降って来た。人々は、この雹の災害のため、神にけがしことを言った。その災害が非常に激しかったからである。 黙示 １６：１６～２１
また、七つの鉢を持つ七人の御使いのひとりが来て、私に話して，こう言った。「ここに来なさい。大水の上にすわっている大淫婦へのさばきを見せましょう。地の王たちは(政治家)、この女(世界支配)の不品行を行い、地に住む人々も、この女の不品行のぶどう酒に酔ったのです。」
３それから、御使い、御霊に感じた私を荒野に連れて行った。すると私は、ひとりの女が緋色の獣に乗っているのを見た。その獣は神をけがす名で満ちており、七つの頭と十本の角を持っていた。４この女(ユダヤ人)は紫と緋の衣を着ていて、金と宝石と真珠とで身を飾り、憎むべきものや自分の不品行の汚れでいっぱいになった金の杯を手に持っていた。
