オオタカの交尾の写真です。オスがメスの上に乗り、お互いの総排泄腔をすり合わせて精子を送り、2～３秒で交尾は終わります。私が写真を撮っていたときは、オスがメスの体から横に飛び降りた後も、少しの間、メスが尻を上に突き出したままだったので、その総排泄腔が良く見えました。双方の総排泄腔を重ねて交尾するため、オスは自分の腹をかなり曲げていると思います。

When the male balances on top of the female, rubbing of cloaca each other, transporting sperm quickly during two or three seconds and the mating is complete. When I took the picture, I could see the female's cloaca very well because she remained her tail up for a short time after finishing the mating, the male moved her side. I guess the male must bent his belly in order to do their cloacal kiss with easy balance.
