トルブレック/ウッドカッターズ・セミヨン　2002　CP93

これは以前12本買った最後の一本です。良いですね。

若い時は全然違う味と香りですが、非常にふくよかで厚みのある白ワインです。

若い時はトロピカルフルーツの様な香りと、独特な苦みがあって、力でハチキレそうでした。年をとって、フローラルな香り、ペトロール、石油香、ワックスの香りが出てきました。味わいも蜜感があってふくよかです。噛みごたえのあるワインで、当然ヒネ感は全くありません。ミネラルが豊富で力強さと果実感をしっかり持っています。

岩牡蠣との相性は抜群でした。

For value, a gorgeous 100% Semillon aged in equal parts neutral wood and tank, the 2002 Woodcutters White, is a wonderful waxy, honeyed citrus Semillon possessing loads of body as well as deliciously pure floral fruit, good acidity, and a surprisingly long finish. This full-throttle dry white begs to be drunk over the next several years, although I suspect some of my Australian readers will age it much longer.
