funny how daisy's fave track for a month or so earlier this year was trans europe express....now we're on the other one!

although as you would expect with this tour, we continue to veer between a Carry On movie and PSYCHO virtually every minute...

latest instalment, whilst we sit out this two day journey from vladivostok to inner mongolia is somehow the ticket's got messed up in Thap's office, who didnt know that mimiko had been sacked so all the train tickets were sent to her, including hers, so she kept hers and has decided to make the journey which is highly freaky...that isn't really all....crazy fan, her arch enemy, is also on the train! That is the real PSYCHO bit....2 days on a rambling (do I mean ramshackle?) express that stops whenever it wants to and goes too fast the rest of the time...

bit like this band actually! No I don't mean that....

the good thing about mimiko's presence is I can blog on the move but no photos...

ulan ude when (if?) we get there is apparently at the moment in the throes of the 800th anniversay of genghis khan (dunno if its his birthday or deathday) because he was a mongool wasn't he, although his name sounds a bit, well, more Pakistan?

Meanwhile, Jon is being very phillosophical about all this...we all wear glasses in downtime at our ages now, including chris, and jon just its there looking aquiline and beautiful in his and staring out of the window at the planes upon planes chattering by ...now, currently, the window is one place where crazy fan cannot get (although I wouldn't bet on in in the long run) so I think this is a good policy...

come to mention it, jon has been brilliant on this tour....his solos have been like seagulls in heaven on a sunny day plus the end of the world thrown in....

I have been thinking about the spirit kids...to disprove alll doubts (I'm gonna do this when I gget home affter the tour) I need to take a NON-FLASH photo, presumably indoors or somewhere dark, but also somehow I need enough light for the photo to show up with a fast exposure....just thinking how possibly to do that....
