Now that we are here I can reveal that in fact this is not MONGOLIA but the BURYAT REPUBLIC! Mongolia is just down south - they are all Bhuddists here and this place is ROCKING! There is something called the BURYAT BEAT which you just have to hear one day.I think it’s where the Beatles got the rhythm to “Baby I’m a rich man” from.

Its like Thailand, Bhuddism just seems to make people so cool. Some of them have been reading the blog and they are very into the spirit kids and that has all got so freaky you just see later in this blog down there

But first things first - Train journey passed off peacefully enough in the end.crazy fan did not appear in jon’s face on the outside of the train window.but when we got to the station it all exploded again! Crazy and Mimiko having a real row because Mimiko tried to stop her coming to our hotel and Crazy said Mimiko’s nothing to do with the band any more.should I even be blogging this. Do we even care!!!! Anyway, very touchy railway police at the station (Russians not buryats I think) tries to ARREST ME (for not "controlling these women" I mean, er - hello. twentieth century - well, twenty first?)!

ANYWAY Big Mistake, in my opinion because I have this great line stored up for any policemen who tries to arrest me. When he asked me if I had anything to say and he’s standing there with notebook and pen poised I say quite calmly: "STOP STRANGLING ME!" He has to write it down! He slightly seems to lose interest after that. He let us go with "heavy warning" and by this time Crazy has disappeared and Mimiko is smiling so I have no idea what went on there.

HOTEL is like an old 19th century Indian Raja’s palace for $25 a night that’s a deal I will take.

GIG is just beautiful, seems very serene after all the craziness of last few days.Wes has grabbed a lovely live version of "Slow Down" from it which I am going to try and put up on the site along with the t-shirts when they come through.we’ll try and do a pack.live CD, some tour photos and a t-shirt! Wes is just messing about with it on his laptop but it shouldn’t be long - after gig its all night parties for genghis khan’s 800th birthday this person comes and gives us here publicity shot and guess what she’s a drummer like BLACK and her name is...well, it’s obvious -

Got to be BLUE hasn’t it...very tempted to take her with us to Moscow to complete the set but we didn't.

Last one tonight is Hevvrok in Moscow which should be fun - get some more pix in red square.Hevvrok is a great gig I love the place....

So that is it so far tour nearly done but then we get to the weird kind of hyper-reality that is going on with these spirit kids....this is photos of Daisy playing at home that I have just been looking through...and this is the circumstances of them...

Just as we are playing I SEE a tiny little white dot float by pretty quickly, very like the one of the video of them sleeping...So, thinking of the blog, I get into a tickle game with her and go and get the camera...

Take loads of shots....in one of them, small on the cameras screen., I notice a dot...and now looking through them, I have enlarged the dot and it is the most beautiful and in focus picture of an ORB I have ever seen and I do have to confess I slightly get the shivers looking at it

....either because its spooky or beautiful or both....Here it is...
