この歌は　オーストラリアの正式な国歌です　　
なせ　第一国歌だと　書いたかと言うと　この国には　もう一つ　国家的存在の歌が　あるからです　

このアドバンスオーストラリアフェアーは　子供達は知ってて　歌えますが、大人たちは　存在は知ってても　歌えません
私は　国歌の歌詞を書いてくれと　大人の人に　聞いても　誰からも　書けない、知らない　と言われたのです
大人の人たちが　知ってるうたは　第二国歌とも言える　ウォルティングマチルダです

そう言う背景の裏には、イギリスとの関係があります
前は　オーストラリアは　イギリスの土地だったのです
エリザベス女王が　オーストラリアの　女王でもあったのです
しかし　多くの国民は　ココは　オーストラリアだ　と　思っていました
歌も　イギリスの国歌を　歌っていたのですが、オーストラリアの国歌を決める事になり、アドバンスオーストラリアフェア　か　ウォルティングマチルダ　か　どちらにするか　・・・結局　現在の　アドバンスオーストラリアフェアに　なったのです
が、　ウォルティングマチルダは　昔から知ってる歌だけど、アドバンス～・・なんて　知らない歌　なのです

アドバンス・・・のほうは　オーストラリアの未来と　現在を　うたっている歌です
言葉も　どこの国とも区別がつかない

ウォルティング・・の方は　オーストラリアの歴史を　うたった歌です
（自分達が　移民してきて、オーストラリアの各地を転々として暮らしていた先祖の生き方が　よく分かる　歌です）
言葉も　オージーらしい言葉が　山ほど歌われています
最初　ウォルティング・・を知らなかったとき　　えええ～この歌も知らないでオーストラリアに　来たのか～と言われた　自慢げだった

私もウォルティングの方が　好きです

オーストラリアの国旗の　ユニオンジャックは　止めるべき～と言う声も　聞いた
