"Swiss Design, Swiss Patent"...Dont be fooled by missleading watch labeling
Many times I see watches with a very authentic swiss style, using labels like "Swiss Design, Swiss Patent, Swiss Brand, Swiss Movement, Swiss 何々" This Swissぱい designs and labels are sometimes very missleading, trying to convince a customer to buy a real"swiss made" watch. But what you acutally buy is either a total fake or a swiss company who is trying to sell their watches with the "swiss image" where it is in fact assembled in China. This missleading labels do not say anything about the quality of the watch. You still can get a good watch (with a little bit of luck) Is missleading labeling illegal?Short answer: No!In fact everybody is doing it. Especially cheap watches from China make great use of missleading labels on their watches but also Japanese watch manufactures. So which watches are realy made "Made in Switzerland"?The real labels for swiss watches are either 1) "MADE IN SWITZERLAND" or 2) "SWISS MADE" and NOTHING ELSE. Its that simple!!!!Example:You might know the watch brand "Swiss Army". This brand is produced by a swiss company named Victorinox. Also better known as the famous "Swiss Army Knife" producer. This watch is produced in China but it has a swiss movement. It's swiss sign on the top is very missleading however this is the company's sign (Victorinox). I call this "missleading without on purpose" :) (This watch is not "Made In Switzerland")My comments for this watch: -Good Quality -100% precise Swiss Army Color -Swiss MovementNothing to worry if you buy this watchP.S: I am always trying to give good examples. Rakuten does not allow me talk about bad watches sold on Rakuten. I completely understand Rakutens policy...so this means for you....open your eyes...think before you buy!YoursMichael :)
