delicious food in JAPAN ~日本のウマいもの~

There is a yakiniku restaurant in Kagawa called ​Masaoka​.
It has been there for many years, located along a main road with a large, easy-to-spot sign.
I had always known the name, but surprisingly, I had never eaten there until today.

I was searching for a good lunch place and Masaoka came up, so I decided to give it a try.
I heard that it gets very crowded, so we went right when the restaurant opened for lunch.

That turned out to be a very good decision.
The place was already full when we arrived. People who came just five minutes after us could not get a seat in the first round and had to wait on chairs for about thirty minutes.



The reason this restaurant is so popular is clear: the price and the portion size.
A lunch set with yakiniku and pork fillet cutlet costs only 1,100 yen.






I ordered the chicken cutlet with tartar sauce, which was under 1,000 yen including tax.
Even the regular size of rice is quite large, so women might want to order a smaller portion.
