Despising others is despising yourselves.
Today, please imagine a scene of a sports festival at a fictitious school. This fictitious Ball-game Festival in this fictitious school is based on what was held at my high-school, with two more events added:From Mini-soccer (game time is one-third of the official game), basket ball, volley ball (girls only, no deuce), tennis, and Mini-baseball (boys only, five innings), all the students select and play what they like and fight interclass. When students are not in play, they cheer for their classmates in play. It's almost impossible to call all the people in this story with pronouns, so let me call main people in this story with fictitious names:Today, the usual bully trio Kou, Chie, Nao is not appearing.Instead, three classes are involved and the main characters are:Mr.Koda(a male teacher), Riku(boy), Atsu(boy)/ Jin(boy), Haru(girl)/ Mio(a boy in another class)----------Mr.Koda was unpopular among students in his class, mainly due to too severe record competition in this class and partly, factionalism problem. He was distressed how to bring back his reputation. Many of the students in his class lead by Riku conflict with his neighboring Jin's class, and this class is trying to send a classmate into school council in rivalry with Jin’s class.Mr.Koda thought up using those move. Those two classes are trying to get along better, but the reality is many of the students in each class are at at strife with each other, and every time they meet, they give malicious looks to each other.Surely, there are good reasons why many of Riku's classmates dislike Jin's classmates (I couldn't make the beginning of their conflict into this story)-but since Jin gave reconciliation money to extortionist student group on Part 3, Riku's group's behavior against Jin's class seems to be getting eccentric:Once there was a tornado in this area and the house of Haru, one of the students in Jin's class, was damaged, and she was injured.A few days later, when Haru came back to school, A few of Riku's classmates broke into Jin's class with a placard written that congratulation on your damage, and made fun of her.At the same time... Atsu, Riku's friend and one of the best-looking boys in this school, concerns such situation and wishes to do something for their friendship. There are several fans of Atsu in Jin's class.Excuse me for long introduction.A whole-school Ball-game Festival came.Mr.Koda devised a stratagem how to use this opportunity to regain reputation and majesty -and declared that the top-3 prizewinning team would get their school grades added, and if his class won overall champion, he would treat them with cakes of popular patisserie. Some students suspected that it was just claptrap.Even so, that stirred the students' fighting spirits -and that caused two incidents:1. At a Mini-soccer game Riku's team took part in...Mio(a boy from another class who took part in soccer) and Riku collided and Riku collapsed on purpose. The judge charged Mio with an error. Then Riku showed an insulting gesture to Mio. Then Mio was drived mad and shouted back to Riku, so Mio ended up in getting ejected from the field -but and students in different classes and audience who carefully watched the scene understood that Riku was on blame.2. The Ball-game Festival went on and on, and top-3 match of each event came.In Mini-soccer, Jin's class and Riku's class faced. This time, both teams on the field fought fair and square, and Riku's team won.However... as is already mentioned, Riku's classmates dislike Jin's classmate, and Riku's team beat the team of Jin's class.Actually, Mr.Koda had also told his students that if they beat teams in Jin's class, the team would be exempted from their cleaning duty for five days even if they didn't win the top-3.Riku's friends were overjoyed all the more -and one of the teammates began to speech that students in this class should be worthy for school council than Jin's classmates, which was prohibited by Ball-game Festival rules. So did Mr.Koda who came to celebrate their victory.Besides... it is natural that classmates cheer for their friends in play, but many students in other classes witnessed Riku's classmates were shouting insult against opponent classes here and there. Now Good God! Unsportsmanlike attitude of them and even their class teacher became apparent to whole school -----------...but I haven't thought up farther stories related with Mr.Koda's class so far -sorry.How did other games go and which class became overall champion of this Ball-game Festival?Did Mr.Koda keep the promise to praise the winning team? That doesn't matter today. If this school really existed and if I were the principal or one of the most influence teachers, I might consider punishing Mr.Koda and his students ...and also scold Jin and his friends who allow bully from extortionist students. -So I wish I could, as for the target for comparison of both classes...
