(See May 31, 2011 first)
Since last April, I oblige myself to place these "serial 10-line essays" around the 11th of every month.
But last month and this month, I placed them to the day of Kobe earthquake.
(December 2011)

The day of 1.17 Kobe earthquake is coming for the 17th time tomorrow.
I'm also the one experienced and witnessed the disaster.
Back then, I lived in the southern part of Osaka.
Although there was a big shake, there were little damages caused at the area I lived in.
Later, when I went on to college in Kobe, there were traces of damage -also in the town I lodged in.
I was watching the revival of Kobe during my college days.
As for this, I was a child -not in age but in social status, so I cannot mention except for about what I saw and remember.
(See also Apr. 11, 2011)
Even so... I was also the one who wondered why they promote the atomic power plants in such a quake-prone country after the earthquake in Kobe.
The new year 2012 has already started, and it's described as first year of reconstruction.
However, I'm afraid that inattention might be spreading after there was an announcement of convergent of the atomic power accident
-But it doesn't mean termination, although both words are "shuusoku" in Japanese.
Whatever the authority for the estimate of "40 years to decommission the nuclear power plants at the stricken area" is, a statement has been shown in figures.
Then if there is a possibility you are still alive in 2050s, you have the duty to witness the results.
