-Well...this remark reminded me of a joke that I saw on an English drill when I was a junior high-school student.
I don't remember precise English sentence, so this Joke sentence is based on Japanese translation I remember.
「What do you call someone who speaks two languages?」「Bilingual!!」
「What do you call someone who speaks three languages?」「Trilingual!!」
「Then what about someone who can use only one language?」「Monolingual?」
「No. The answer is AMERICAN.」
