Within the sound of silence...
"Hello darkness, my old friend I've come to talk with you again..."The phrase repeated in my mind...My car had been shut in university parking 1 since yesterday.I had been in CJ room to do my job, and it was near at 11:00 p.m. that I left for home.But I had forgotten an important fact that the parking 1 is always closed before 10:00 p.m., so I couldn't get my car out of there untill next morning!Added to it, the last bus had already gone, so I have to go home using by Astram Line (which is one of transportations in Hiroshima, but its fee is quite high!)It took about 40 minutes to get the center of Hiroshima, and I have to walk about 30 minutes because the street cars, the only way to get my home from there, had already finished.When I was walking, there was no one in the street, and I felt so lonley.Then, suddenly I remembered the phrase of "The Sound of Silence" by Simon and Garfunkel."Hello darkness, my old friend I've come to talk with you again..."And I recognized that I was not alone!The moon smiled at me warmly, and fresh breez sang a mild song for me!It was a night like that...「こんばんは、僕の旧友。暗闇さん。 また君と話をしにきたよ。」このフレーズが頭を離れませんでした。車が大学の第一駐車場に閉じ込められてしまいました。ずっと仕事でＣＪのボックスにいて、家に帰ろうとしたときにはすでに午後11時近くでした。しかし、重大なことを忘れていました。第一駐車場はいつも10時には閉まってしまうのです。おかげで車を翌朝まで出せません！！しかもバスの最終が出ちゃってて、アスとラムラインを使って帰るしかありませんでした！（アスとラムラインは広島の交通機関のひとつで、結構運賃が高いのです…。）広島の中心部に出るまで40分ほどかかりました。家に帰るための唯一の交通手段、市内電車の最終便が出てしまったので、それからさらに30分ほど歩かなければなりませんでした。歩いていましたが、通りには誰一人いなかったので、なんかさびしい気分。。。そこで突然、Simon & Garfunkelの『サウンド・オブ・サイレンス』を思い出しました。「こんばんは、僕の旧友。暗闇さん。 また君と話をしにきたよ。」そこで僕は一人じゃないんだって気付きました。月は暖かく微笑んでくれているし、そよ風は優しい歌を歌ってくれていたのです。そんな感じの夜でした…。悪いことはあったけど、こんな夜も、たまにはいいなって思いました（^-^）Photo by Mikio Komatsuhttp://www.asahi-net.or.jp/~jk9m-kmt/
