The Angkor Wat Marathon, also known as the Angkor Empire Marathon or Khmer Empire Marathon, is a full marathon held annually within the Angkor Wat archaeological park. It covers a distance of 42,195 km (26.1 miles) and starts and finishes in front of the Angkor Wat Temple. Unfortunately, the 2020 and 2021 editions were cancelled due to the pandemic. For those who prefer shorter distances, there is also a half-marathon, 5K, and 3K run available as part of the event.
