Holy crap, it sure turned cold here in a hurry. It was only a week and a half ago that Nadu's parents were here, enjoying one of the warmest Novembers in history here. Then all of a sudden, December comes. BAM!

Today it is -29 C with the wind, which is pretty damn cold. I don't mind the cold all that much since I'm only outside when I'm walking to and from my car. But poor, poor Nadu has to walk 10 blocks to and from school. I think she's more used to cold weather than I am by now!

Also we got a nice dump of snow last night. Most people would think 'Well, it's Edmonton, they get snow every year. People will just revert back to normal winter driving behavior'. WRONG! I was driving down the Whitemud freeway to work this morning, and just because there are a few flakes of snow falling from the sky, everyone has to go now faster than 50km/h down the normally 80km/h freeway. And then if that wasn't annoying enough, when some people go around one of the corners (which is like a 20 degree turn), they have to slam on the brakes and go about 30km/h. Arrggg...my road rage was showing this morning :p
