They are going to redo Justice League just like how they are doing a redo of Suicide Squad. BvS, JL, SS, never happened. Aquaman, WW, Shazam all are looking promising and are making money with good reviews from media shills. The problem with WB was they never took a risk, ever. They are always seen tinkering with the director's vision. You look back in the 50's till now there are so many movies that didn't get their original run-time which lead to a lot of backlash by the fans. WB has done this with Zack thrice. Watchmen, BvS, and JL, all got nuked by WB's interference on the box office, but the DVD releases were always well received by ex harsh critics of the theatrical cut of these movies and fans all around loved it due to the directors being able to add all those extra minutes. For example: Alexander 2004 and Cleopatra 1963 come to mind. RIP DCEU, RIP Zack's vision. For me, the DCEU died after BvS, it died when Superman died and I am fine with that.

YouTube channel Flashback FilmMaking has put together a 40 minute video showcasing all the known footage, behind-the-scenes material and other details known about the infamous “Snyder Cut” of the “Justice League” movie.
As you’ll recall, director Zack Snyder was forced to stand down before completing the film, due to the untimely death of his daughter. Joss Whedon was brought in to finish off the film, reshooting many scenes and making a number of changes to the script. Knowing Snyder’s version would have been much different to what we saw, the #ReleaseTheSnyderCut hashtag has been used over the past two years with fans and cast members calling for Warner Bros. to release Snyder’s version in some capacity.

HBO Max has announced it will air a re-versioned edition of the superhero film Justice League. The new cut will be done by the film's original director Zack Snyder, who left the production of the film before it was finished due to a family tragedy. Joss Whedon, the director of The Avengers, was brought in to complete the film, but fans complained he made the film too light-hearted. HBO's announcement comes a week before the release its new streaming service. Warner Media, which produced Justice League, is also the parent company of HBO. Competition among streaming services has heated up over the last year as more companies have entered the field.

Announcing content with Hollywood A-listers or with popular franchise like the DC Comics or Star Wars has been one way that services have tried to attract subscribers. "These brands come with built in fan bases so there will be eyes on the streaming service based on the brand recognition, " said Vince Peters, chief executive officer of Inheritance AI. A darker Justice League Many fans have been calling for a "Snyder-cut" of Justice League since the film was released in 2017. Synder completed most the filming for the movie based on the DC Comic Book. But he stepped away from the project before post-production and editing work following the suicide of his daughter. Whedon, who created the TV series Buffy the Vampire Slayer, did several reshoots and fans suggested he gave the film a lighter tone than Synder's original intent.

On social media, the hashtag #ReleasetheSnyderCut has been used by fans calling for a new version of the film. It is not yet known whether the new version, set to be released in 2021 will be a six-part series or a nearly four-hour long directors-cut film. Streaming competition HBO Max is not the only service looking to big names or familiar franchise to attract subscribers. Earlier this week Apple TV Plus announced it would premier the Tom Hanks' film Greyhound, developed by Sony Pictures. The film was set to have a theatrical release in June, but executives changed course because of concern the coronavirus pandemic would keep viewers away from cinemas. When Disney Plus launched in November, it promoted its new Star Wars series The Mandalorian. Short-form streaming app Quibi spent billions on new programming featuring stars ranging from actress Sophie Turner to Chance the Rapper and celebrity chef Evan Funke. More competition is entering the streaming market as well. NBCUniversal's streaming service Peacock will make its debut in July. HBO Max begins service in the US on 27 May.

After years of campaigning fans are finally getting their wish, with the long-rumoured cut of 2017 movie Justice League the Snyder Cut soon to become a reality.
Coming to HBO Max, the Snyder Cut will finally give fans Zack Snyder’s original vision for the DC superhero movie, which starred Ben Affleck, Gal Gadot, Henry Cavill and Ezra Miller among others, but was changed when Snyder departed the movie and Joss Whedon took charge.
But where can they watch Zack Snyder’s Justice League? How long will they have to wait? And will UK fans have to miss out?
How to watch The Snyder Cut of Justice League
Zack Snyder’s cut of Justice League (as opposed to the version reshot and released by Joss Whedon) is set to be an exclusive for HBO Max, the new streaming service set up by Warner Brothers and HBO that’s set to launch on the 27th May.
In other words, US fans will need to subscribe to HBO Max to watch the Snyder cut of Justice League – though not for a while – while fans elsewhere in the world might have more trouble…
When is Zack Snyder’s Justice League cut released?

While an exact date hasn’t been set, the new cut of the movie is expected to arrive on HBO Max in 2021, with Snyder currently reuniting behind-the-scenes crew to complete special effects, grading and sound work in what is bound to be a long, laborious process (especially if people have to work from home).
Rumour has it that the film may be a weighty four-hour cut, or will be split up into a multi-part miniseries, so it’ll probably be worth the wait.
Can I watch the Snyder cut in the UK?
Unfortunately, UK fans may have more trouble getting their hands on the new cut, as it’s not believed HBO Max will be available in that territory.
However, TV shows made by Warner Bros and HBO have often made their way to the UK before – the ‘Arrowverse’ of superhero TV shows and Game of Thrones most prominently – so it seems likely that a deal would be struck to give UK fans a chance to watch the Snyder Cut as well in 2021.
What is the Snyder Cut of Justice League?
We’ve written about the Snyder Cut before, but essentially the story is this – after shooting on Justice League director Zack Syder was forced to retire due to personal tragedy, with Warner Bros hiring Joss Whedon to finish the film and make significant changes to parts they were unhappy with.
Whedon completed the film ahead of its release in 2017, at which point the finished movie underperformed critically and commercially. Soon, a movement sprang up from fans who wanted to see the ‘real’ Justice League which they believed was hidden and ready to go, hidden in Zack Snyder’s possession.
And as time went on, the calls for Warner Bros to #ReleaseTheSnyderCut only continued. Fans hired a plane to fly a banner with the hashtag over San Diego Comic-Con, the film’s cast (especially Jason Momoa) noted their hopes it could be released as well, and on the two-year anniversary of Justice League’s release Snyder and the cast (including Gal Gadot, Ben Affleck and Henry Cavill) tweeted their support for the Snyder Cut’s realisation.
Snyder has continued to tease the Snyder Cut on social media, and now the reason behind that is clear – for a while now, Warner Bros has been planning to make fans’ dreams a reality. Now all fans have to do to see the Snyder cut is wait…
What are the Snyder Cut differences?
According to Snyder the new cut will be vastly different to the version of Justice League fans saw in cinemas.
“It will be an entirely new thing, and, especially talking to those who have seen the released movie, a new experience apart from that movie, ” Snyder told the Hollywood Reporter.
“You probably saw one-fourth of what I did. ”
Later, Snyder released an image on social media confirming that fan-favourite villain (and planned Big Bad for the Justice League) Darkseid would appear in his version of the film, suggesting that we could expect some new flashbacks or battles in the finished version.

Sounds to me that Joss Whedon sabotaged the movie. After watching the animated Justice League Dark Apokolips War, this whole Justice League Trilogy would of been effin epic! Warner Bros need to take out their stick or logs outta of their asses.

For everyone else who was highly distressed by what this movie turned out to be, the wait for Zack Snyder's cut of the film is now officially underway. Following the frequent calls to #ReleaseTheSnyderCut, HBO Max are now doing exactly that. Last week, the new streaming platform confirmed that the untouched version of the movie will be available to watch on their service in 2021. Shocked by the announcement, Snyder himself recently admitted he thought it would take "20 years" for his version of the movie to be released.

"You can't release something like this theatrically, but you could with a streaming service. It's an opportunity that wasn't there two years ago, to be honest.
