これまでに日記に出てきた祖母は、母方の祖母でした。
父方の祖母とはあまり交流がなかったのですが、父方の祖母も実は着物好きだったんです。
今年はじめ、ひさしぶりに父方の叔母の家に遊びに行って、
祖母がもう着ないという着物をたくさんもらってしまいました！
叔母も、着ないからといって黄八丈のアンサンブルをくれました。
戦利品は、長襦袢２枚、着物８枚（そのうち大島紬４枚）、名古屋帯５枚、袋帯１枚などなど。
他にも、帯揚げ、帯締め、かんざし、草履、小物ももらいいました。
どれから着たらいいのか困っちゃうぐらいです･･･！
両方の祖母が着物好きだなんて、私はなるべくして着物好きになったのでしょうかね。
サイズも大丈夫だし、とっても嬉しいです。
それにしても、おばあちゃんから洋服もらうことってまずないですよね？
代々受け継げる着物って本当にすばらしいですね。

Grandma I mentioned before was a mother’s mother.
I didn’t keep in touch with my father’s mother but she also used to like Kimono.
This year, I went to aunt’s house and she gave me a lot of grandma’s Kimono!!!
Aunt also gave me set up of KIHACHIJO (yellow silk cloth woven with a pattern of brown and black stripes or checks) Kimono that she doesn’t wear anymore.
What I got are 2 NAGAJUBAN,8 Kimono's(4 of them are OSHIMA-TSUMUGI),5 NAGOYA-OBI,1 FUKURO-OBI.
She also gave OBIAGE, OBIJIME, Hair accessory, ZORI and pass case…!
Both of my grandma like Kimono so I was born to be Kimono lover!
What should I wear first?
Size is OK and I am so happy!
By the way, to get western cloth from grandma is rarely happen,isn't it?
Kimono is just amazing that can be an inheritage of family.
