Harrods and South Kengington
Hello from London!I am at a computer of an Internet cafe so I can't use Japanese. I went to have lunch with my friend's friend and it was very nice. He was a very very nice gentleman. He treated me very well and even the bill. The conversation was very nice and we promised that we are going to meet in NYC in November when he visits. I want to buy him a nice lunch at the time. We shared some personal information each other and also about our mutual friend lives in NYC now. After that, I rode in a double decker bus and went to the Harrods department store. I was soooo exited about the bus, like we always see, red and double decker. I took so many pictures from the top. In Harrods, everything was fancy there and I could barely find something I can easily afford. I wish that I was brave enough like other Japanese ladies buying things in brand shops. Anyway, the store itself was even beautiful and I was very impressed with the interior and everything. I went to a tearoom in the Capital Hotel in the Knightsbridge afterwards. The area must be very nice and fancy so the hotel's services were exclusive like too. I was very happy. Waiters were nice enough to come and say hi to me while I was there and they always called me madam. I felt pretty good. The hotel was very tiny and seemed a business hotel so a lot of business people were around in the tearoom as well. Very nice atmosphere. Without major task or anything, I got off a train at South Kensington and came to this Internet café. I checked the weather in Amsterdam and Brussels and that was almost the same as London. I hope that the trip will go well. I am excited but same time nervous about the trip. September 19, 2005 1:44pm (EDT) 6:44pm (London Time)
