■ The Dolphin Performance at Maxell Aqua Park Shinagawa It is a spectacular show combining dynamic dolphin performances with music, lighting, and visual effects. There are two versions and features of the show. One is the day version and another is the night version. At the day version, :you can enjoy a vibrant show under natural sunlight streaming through the glass roof and watch dolphins showcase their incredible agility with stunning jumps and other performances. At the night version, you can immerse yourself in a magical atmosphere with dolphins performing amidst music, lighting, and mesmerizing visuals.. The show runs multiple times daily, with each session lasting approximately 15 minutes. The circular seating area surrounds the dolphin pool, ensuring great views from all angles. All seats are unreserved, so I recommend you to arrive early to secure your spot. Some parts of the show involve splashing water, especially in the front rows. Please protect your clothing and electronic devices accordingly though a warterproof coat can be bought. I attended a night show and was deeply moved by the beautiful projection mapping reflected on the fountain and the perfectly synchronized performance with the dolphins. I’ve seen dolphin shows in several places before, but the visuals here were by far the most stunning. ■ Taking photos When taking photos, it’s highly recommended to avoid using tripods or flash out of consideration for other guests. Upon entering the venue, I suggest using a fast telephoto lens and setting a slightly higher ISO that maintains acceptable noise levels. Additionally, determine the slowest shutter speed you can use handheld without blurring, and adjust your settings accordingly to capture the show effectively.
