Colors of My Heart

The Royal Opera House, located in Covent Garden, London, is one of the UK‘s most prestigious opera houses and serves as the home of both The Royal Opera and The Royal Ballet.

Originally opened in 1732, the current building was completed in 1858. A major renovation in the late 20th century modernized its facilities while preserving its historic grandeur. The venue is renowned worldwide for staging a diverse repertoire of opera and ballet, ranging from classical masterpieces to contemporary productions.

It is easily accessible, situated just a short walk from Covent Garden Station. In recent years, the Royal Opera House has also embraced digital streaming, making performances more widely available.

​I often go to watch ballet performances there, and as the name "Royal" suggests, the venue itself is truly magnificent and luxurious. I am always looking forward to watching the magnificent ballet performance by the Royal Ballet at this opera house with our family.
