■ Harry Potter Studio Tour in London
Located on the outskirts of London, the Warner Bros. Studio Tour London – The Making of Harry Potter is a must-visit attraction for fans of the series. This tour offers a behind-the-scenes look at the actual sets, props, and costumes used in the filming of the Harry Potter movies, making it feel as if you’ve stepped into the wizarding world yourself.
In addition to the sets, the exhibition features an extensive collection of props and costumes. You’ll see Quidditch uniforms, Harry’s glasses and cloak, Voldemort’s wand, and even the Horcruxes, all iconic items from the series. Visitors can also explore the interior of the Hogwarts Express and even experience flying on a broomstick using green screen technology.
One of the most popular highlights of the tour is tasting Butterbeer, the famous wizarding drink from the films, known for its sweet and creamy flavor. Other interactive experiences include trying out different wands and exploring magical creatures, allowing visitors to fully immerse themselves in the Harry Potter universe.
The studio is located in Leavesden, about 30 km from central London. It is accessible via a shuttle bus from Watford Junction Station. Since tickets must be booked in advance, it is highly recommended to secure them early, especially during the summer and holiday seasons.
This tour not only lets you see how the magic of the films was brought to life, but it also makes you feel like a true Hogwarts student. Photography is allowed, making it the perfect place to capture some magical memories with the beautifully recreated sets.
Before visiting, I highly recommend watching all the movies. I had only seen the first film before going, so I spent a few weeks watching the remaining seven. Knowing the story in advance will definitely enhance your experience and allow you to appreciate the details of the tour even more!
