That Slenderman stabbing was real close to home, physically at least. Still remember hearing about it.
The info on the Last House on the Left makes me want to get medieval on the male actors that put the female lead thru that kind of abuse. The movie was obviously a hard shoot as it stood, without having her being harassed like that off camera. I'll still rate it as one of the defining films of the genre, but my anger is now redirected at the male actors in a whole new way.

You wanna know another classic horror movie I cant watch anymore? Friday the 13th. The snake killed in the movie was a real snake. It was completely harmless and used to being around humans. Also the animal trainer had no idea they were gonna kill it and he was crying on set because the actors murdered his pet snake.

I was thinking the shining because how the director would act to the mom in the movie forcing the stair scene over 100 time or the Blair witch project how the cast was given less food during the shoot to make it more real.
Why the fuck was Stanley Kubrick's treatment of Shelly Duvall while shooting The Shining not a part of this list? You were clearly thinking about it since you mentioned it. That shit was unacceptable! Since learning about it, I can't watch The Shining without wanting to punch Kubrick for it. And it makes me angrier that I can't watch Doctor Sleep without thinking of it either because Mike Flanagan decided to do his movie as a sequel to the Kubrick Shining. What he should have done was his own Shining first and shot that and Doctor Sleep back to back.
