海外の「今日なんか良いクルマ見かけた？」的な掲示板に ロータス・オメガ・カールトンの写真がアップされているのを発見した 元気で走ってるなあ～とぼんやり眺めていると ん？ナンバーが変だな 良く見かけるヨーロッパ風の横長ナンバーではなく 日本や北米のような四角のタイプだ これは例のアメリカに１台だけ展示用としてデトロイトに上陸した４９号車が路上デビューしたか？ と思ったが、投稿者の居住地はブリスベン・・・オーストラリアか え？オーストラリアに居るの？？？ 投稿は２０１１年の１１月だから意外と最近だな ホールデンとボクスホールとオペルは三つ子みたいなもんだからなくは無いだろうが ロータス・オメガ・カールトンの生息分布に生涯をささげている、イギリスのジェームスのサイトでもオーストラリアは無かった気がする 改めてオーストラリアのロータス・オメガ／カールトンについて調べてみると 中古車情報が残っているサイトがあった Guy doesn't know how to post pics so just google it if you don't know what it looks like. Name Richard Country Australia State Victoria Suburb Bayswater North Post Code 3153 Mobile 0408543959 なにやらレースクルーの１人がオーストラリアに持ち込んだらしいな 結局オーストラリアには２台が存在して、この個体は８０，０００オーストラリアドルで売ってたらしい 今はその販売サイトは無いので、売れたのかどうなのか・・・ 久しぶりにイギリスのジェームスのサイトで、分布に変わりは無いか調べてみると そもそもワールドカーガイドの「全量ドイツとイギリスで販売された」という記事が怪しいという事が分かる なぜなら販売先には オランダとか フィンランドとか ルーマニアとか スロベニアとか ユーゴスラビアとか スウェーデンとか インドネシアとか オーストリアとか エストニアとか スイスとか ノルウェーとか クロアチアとか アラブ首長国連邦とか ダイレクトエクスポートされていると書いてある まあ日本にも来てるし その後ロシアにも相当数が流れて 現在ではロータス・オメガ／カールトンクラブ・イン・ロシアまでできている 意外と世界中に拡散しているんだなあ 海外に出かけた時に偶然見かけたりしたら、追いかけて行って話しかけるかもしれんな しかしなんで日本もオーストラリアも２台づつなんだろ・・・ どこの国にも変わったやつが２人くらいは居るという事か
