おさらいをしておくと、Uターンとは、地方で生まれ育った人が一度都心で勤務した後に、再び自分の生まれ育った故郷に戻って働くことを言い、Iターンとは、生まれ育った故郷以外の地域に就職することを言い、またJターンとは、地方で生まれ育った人が一度都心で働き、その後また故郷とは違った別の地方に移住して働くことを指す。
人は住む場所を変えることで、人が、そして人生そのものが変わるのか。
あるいは地上の出来事にはすべて定められた時があるだけなのか。

ところで「ターン」といえば、やはりファーマータナカの世代はThe Byrds（Birdsではない）の曲「ターン・ターン・ターン」を思い出さずにはいられない。
曲調はデビュー曲「ミスター・タンブリン・マン」と同様フォークロックと呼ばれるもので、後のC.S.Nやイーグルスに多大な影響を与えることになる。
親しみのあるメロディーとその哲学的歌詞で、1965年12月14日から3週連続で全米NO.1の大ヒットとなった。
