DESCRIPTION
A small purplish-black fig with strawberry pulp. Turbinate. Fairly sweet and rich flavor. Well-adapted in coastal California, but not very productive in the South. Not particularly hardy. Has been replaced by Celeste.

DESCRIPTION
Listed by Richton in 1893 as an " Italian variety with small roundish fruit.. ripening late. Skin pale yellowish green and flesh reddish purple. Small tree bearing early and prolific" Sold by Law Sumner in 1915. Rance describes this as an early variety with a small breba crop and a good main crop used for preserves and pickles. Grown in UK in pots because the tree is compact and it can be forced so as to give three crops a year.

水切れに弱いので夏場の水切れに注意します。
肥料は5月はじめと12月に、有機肥料などを根元に施します。夏秋果兼用品種です。
剪定は...
（夏果用）秋の収穫後、枝先を切らずに残す。収穫は7～8月
（秋果用）落葉後、12月～2月の間に枝元の2芽を残して切る。収穫は8～9月
※収穫量が多く甘いのは秋収穫です。
ピエドブーフ
PIED DE BOEUF
Pied de Boeuf or "beef foot" is a two crop fig. The first crop's skin is brown, green and red with an amber pink interior. This second crop is brown and green outside with a bright red interior.
A prolific producer for a modest growing fig. The first crop figs are large and ripen in July and second crop starts to ripen in August. The first crop is juicy and very good tasting. Mari says she can taste peach flavors in this fig. The second crop is jammy and sweet and also has very good flavor.
It's interesting to note that there are several towns in France named "Pied de Boeuf". One in particular, "Beaumont-Pied-de-Boeuf, Sarthe", is hundreds of years old and is north west of Paris. The others are in the south. It wouldn't be too much of a stretch to assume that one of these towns is where this variety of fig originated.
早生品種。熟すと果皮は美しい赤褐色になり、さっぱりした風味。甘みが強い。
通常品種のような青臭さが少なく、種のジャリジャリ感が少ないです。
60～80ｇのやや大きめの紫褐色の実。
豊産性。見た目が美しく目が閉じ、皮はしっかりしている
糖度は一般的なイチジクと同等の20度以上
樹勢は強いがコンパクトに仕立てることもできるので、鉢植えでも栽培できます。
秋果専用本種
生食がお奨め
菓子材料、ジャム、ドライフルーツ
樹勢はやや強く、根付くとガンガン成長します。
また豊産性なのでたくさん食べられます。
早ければ翌年収穫できます
皮が固く日持ちします
植え付けは苦土石灰を必ず施します。
果樹というより、野菜のような感じでマメに施肥します
主な病害虫は夏場のカミキリムシです。

DESCRIPTION
Listed by George Neilson in 1874 as being grown at the RVHS gardens at Burnley. Still there in 1896. No description. Probably a UK variety.

ロイヤルビンヤードは夏秋兼用種。砂糖のように甘いですが、しつこくはないサンペドロ種です。果重50g、果形は長卵型、果皮は黄緑～赤褐色で肉質は密。

栽培方法：
日当たりと水はけのよい場所で育てます。あまり剪定しないほうが実付きがよいが、伸びすぎた場合は12月～2月に混み合った枝を間引く。
果実は1枝に8～10個が適当。早めに摘果する。
カミキリムシがつきやすい
・収穫・利用法：
果実が熟して木から落ちる直前がいちばんおいしいので、熟したものから順次摘み取ります。

This variety which resists well to the transport a light savor and aroma and its skin is veined purple on a base of various colors from yellow to dark purple.
