(私の姿からすると昭和32、3年ころの山村:父親が撮影) caplioでアルバムを撮影、無修正
In the course of looking back my old photoes, I felt like go further back to old ages when I lived in a village. In 1950's, farmers were majority and took a village life for granted. Now my birthplace which you can see above is gone, that is, under the water of a dam. Sometimes I can see the ruins of my village when water shortage happens. The biggest house you can see in the picture above was my home. Just below my house, there used to be a stream where my family used its water for washing vegetables, sometimes clothes and young kids swam there in the summer. I remember almost drowning at the deep spot. In those days, the matter of dead or alive was at hand for everyone. A truck with four wheels was not common in a remote area of the village, therefore, once it came to my village, it was a big attraction for young kids. That's why you can see a lot of kids surounding the truck. Incidentally, the truck didn't have a steering wheel, but a steering bar. Elderly people probably know it.
