The Dark Knight is easily the best Batman movie to date. Christopher Nolan clearly shows the darker aspect of the Batman comic and how much more realistic it can be.
Even if you do not like Batman or superhero movies in general, one reason to see this movie is Heath Ledger. He not only steals the show but his character will be remembered forever (clearly should be nominated for Oscar. His take on the Joker is brilliant so much that you forget during the movie that it is actually Heath Ledger. Christian Bale seals the deal with Batman yet again (except for an annoying overdone deep voice. Gary Oldman puts an even better effort then the previous one and Aaron Eckhart does a good job exploring the world of Two-Face.
The movie lives up to its expectations and beyond and sets a bar for any future superhero movies (or any movie for that matter) for years to come. The Dark Knight has everything you could want in a movie: action, great acting, drama, love story, twists, humor and of course not listen to anyone who tells you this is a bad movie because that is plain stupidness. You don't have to like it, but you have to respect the greatness of this movie!
