🌿 My Aqua Terrarium!　Part2【アクアテラリウム】のご紹介

Hello everyone.

今日はアクアテラリウムの水上にある植物についてご紹介します。
Today, I'll introduce the plants above the water in my aquaterrarium.

流木の上の植物、実は名前がよく分からない。
I actually don't know the name of the plant on the driftwood.

調べたところ、たぶんアジアンタムかイチョウシダ、どちらにしろ近縁なシダ類の仲間らしい。
I checked, and it is probably Adiantum or Ginkgo Fern, or a similar kind of fern.

真ん中で生茂っているのがプテリス(アルボリネアーダ)。
The one growing thickly in the middle is Pteris (Arborineata).

植え込んで2カ月経つけど元気です。
It has been 2 months since I planted it, and it is healthy.
但し、根本には水槽の水(15℃前後)が供給されているけど、これからの季節は室温が5℃以下になる事もあるので、維持できるかは少し心配です。
However, the roots are getting water from the tank(around15℃),but the room temperature can drop below 5℃ in the coming season, so I am a little worried if I can keep it alive.

真冬に経過途中を報告したいと思っています。
I hope to report on its condition in the middle of winter.

次は流木の表面に付いている2種類の苔類ですが、これも名前が分かりません。
Next are the two types of moss on the surface of the driftwood, but I don't know their names either!

実は我が家の庭の土や石に活着していた苔類です。
Actually, they are mosses that were living on the soil and stones in my garden.

調べたのですが、似たような種類がたくさんありすぎて、判別できませんでした。
I tried to check, but there are too many similar kinds, so I couldn't identify them.

植え込み方法ですが、この時に約にたつのが、写真にも載せた「活着君」です。
Regarding the planting method, this product in the photo, called "Kacchaku-kun," is very useful.

これは本当に便利。
It is really convenient.

２本の植物は購入後、根について土を綺麗に水洗いし、その根に「活着君」を巻き付け流木の隙間に差し込むだけです。
For the two plants, after buying them, I washed the soil off the roots well, wrapped the roots with Kacchaku-kun, and just put them into the gaps of the driftwood.

苔類は外で自生していたものですから、これも綺麗に水洗いしなるべく付着物は洗い流します。
Since the mosses were growing outside, I also washed them well to remove any attached material.

その後、「活着君」を流木の上に敷いて、あとはその上に乗せるだけです。
Then, I placed Kacchaku-kun on the driftwood and simply put the moss on top.

ほぼ90度に近い面でも濡らすだけで活着してくれます。
It can attach itself just by getting wet, even on a surface that is almost 90℃ (vertical).

それと「活着君」の一部に水を供給できていれば、あとは毛細管現象で上下関わらず水を運んでくれます。
Also, if you supply water to part of the Kacchaku-kun, the capillary action will carry the water up and down.
