HEMHET 2月号の自己採点
本当は今日、3月号のHEMHETをやるつもりだったのですが、よくよく考えたら、2月号の復習もしてないことに気づき、反省。今回のヒアリングマラソンは実はHEMHETに重きを置いていまして。とてもすべての教材はこなせないので、少なくともまずHEMHETをやって、回答が来るまでに復習をして自分なりの正解を出しておくことをする、っていうのが必須課題でした。で、すぐにPart1はとりかかっていたものの、Part2と3は全然手付かずでした。さっそく、チェック。聞き返しソフトがお役立ち。２つ起動して一つは問題となる文章の部分の区間リピートさせ、もう1つで、質問の部分を区間リピート。聞き返しのおかげでほんとHEMHETの復習が楽になりました！感謝。自己採点の結果・・・Part1 6/8 Part2 5/8 Part3 8/10でした。はっきり言って、勘があたったとしかいいようがありません。相変わらず、HEMHET難しすぎ・・・。Part1はノートにメモ書きしたのですが、実は2月9日からめでたく？新しいノートに切り替わったので、ノートだとどこに書いたかわからなくなると思い、ブログにそのメモ書きをアップすることにしました。基本はHEMHETの内容の一部ディクテーション。答えが来たらチェックする予定。英語手帳にこの日にメモ書きアップしたことをメモ。あ、一応実はまだ英語手帳続けてます（笑）。-- 以下、メモ。※ HEMHET2月号の復習です。メモ書きQ11 * It sounds to me like she's the one to blame, not you.I'm so happy you see it my way.*はディクテーションしてるので、違うかも。as somebody sees it/the way somebody sees it (=used to give someone's opinion) As I see it, you don't have any choice.The way I see it, we have two options.Q14女性の発音がわかりにくい。vision manager っていってるのか、revisionなのか、不明。* Didn't I see a name on a list on Notice Board?I ではなく、Youならすごく話はわかるんだけど・・・Q15unseemly：formalunseemly behaviour is not polite or not suitable for a particular occasion:Ann thought it unseemly to kiss her husband in public.Q16Hold it right there!hold：stop/delay [transitive] spoken used in particular phrases to tell someone to wait or not to do somethingこれってEJ3月号でチェックしたholdの用法ですね。選択肢からbudge：to move, or to make someone or something moveShe leaned on the door, but it wouldn't budge.on hold：if you are on hold, you are waiting to talk to someone on the telephoneThe agent put me on hold while she consulted a colleague.Q17What are two important points the man needs to know?選択肢からaccommodation：a place for someone to stay, live, or workQ18How much will she end up paying to rent a space?女性の end up paying がすごく聞き取りにくかった。The charter room is $450 an hour plus tax and service charges.And there are two hours minimum.Q19What can be said about the stage of the Globe Theatre?the Globe Theatrea) a theatre south of the River Thames in London where William Shakespeare's plays were first performed.
