「A man in love mistakes a pimple for a dimple.」 +++++++++++++++++++++++ ●日本語の格言に学ぶ、私、日本人(欧米人から見た日本人像) A fog cannot be dispelled by a fan. 「Answer Com(疑問に答えるサイト)」には、つぎのようにある。 「Short answer: fog is just a cloud that has lost altitude. Long answer: Because the humidity has reached more than 100% and the water starts to appear as vapour. You will also find that every outdoor……」 A good husband is healthy and absent. A good Jack makes a good Jill. A good sword is the one left in its scabbard. A man in love mistakes a pimple for a dimple. A mended lid to a cracked pan. ただひとつだけ気になるのは、いちばん末尾にある、「Knowledge without wisdom is a load of books on the back of an ass.」 A pig used to dirt turns its nose up at rice.
