The Chicago White Sox have been active in the trade market this year, and it appears that they have more moves planned.

"The Chicago White Sox definitely plan to trade outfielder Tommy Pham before the deadline," reported Bob Nightengale on Sunday. "But they have not engaged in talks with Atlanta or any other contender yet."

Pham has been one of the most impressive players on an underperforming White Sox team since his debut in late April. Pham has played all three outfield positions and has also stepped in as DH. In 32 games, he's hitting.287/.333/.411 with three home runs, 12 RBIs, and three steals. His.287 average is second on the team.

This year, White Sox general manager Chris Getz didn't waste time selling off valuable players. He began by trading ace Dylan Cease to the Padres in March and continued with a steady stream of subsequent trades. Getz sold Robbie Grossman to the Rangers in early May and exchanged other minor-league players for cash throughout the season.

In addition to Pham, many other players are anticipated to leave the organization. Other trade speculations have included Michael Kopech, Chris Flexen, Erick Fedde, Eloy Jiménez, and Mike Clevinger.

The White Sox also conducted a fire sale throughout the season. In 2023, the team traded Jake Burger, Lucas Giolito, Kendall Graveman, Joe Kelly, Reynaldo López, and Lance Lynn.

The MLB trading deadline is July 30.
