彼岸花の神秘　Secrets of the cluster amaryllis

今日は秋分の日でお彼岸の中日である。花とお線香を持ってお墓参りに行ってきた。 今年も彼岸花が庭の片隅に咲いた。数日前までは地上に何の気配もなかったのに、お 彼岸になったら突然地上に現れて花を咲かせるのである。先輩達が言うには彼岸花は 亡くなった人達の魂で、年に一回お彼岸の時に地上に現れるとのことである。この花 は現世と過去世を媒介してくれるものである。お墓参りの後で二人の重症患者さんを 診るために病院に行った。彼らはそう遠くない日にあの世に行くと思う。そして年に 一回お彼岸の時にこの世に彼岸花の形をして現れるかもしれない。 Today is the Autumn Equinox Day , the center day of the equinoctial week. I visited our ancestor's grave with flowers and incense sticks. A cluster amaryllis blooms on the corner of our garden this year too. We couldn’t see any plant on the grand until several days before, and appeared on the ground suddenly in this season. Our superior says that the cluster amaryllis is the soul of the deceased and appears on the ground once a year during the equinoctial week. This flower is bridge between the this world and the underground, another word incarnation, I think. After visiting the grave, I went to my hospital to observe the two severe patients. They will go to the other world in near day, and may appear as a cluster amaryllis on the ground once a year during the equinox day.
