Our friends from Spain, Ricardo and MariCruz, came to see us yesterday on their way back to their home-town of Salamanca. They have been in England for about a month. It was so nice to see them again. We know them because they lived in our house for a month a couple of years ago.

They arrived at around four o'clock, bringing with them a selection of Spanish food, of which this is a photo. We chatted for a while and then decided to take dinner back to the campsite where their camping van was parked. We sat out in the evening sun and had a fantistic dinner around their little camping table, including spicy falafel and vegetarian sausages. Lots of cheese, too - stilton, camembert and a Spanish goats' cheese, which was very good. I took my camera, but as usual, forgot to take any photos. But I did take one of the food which they brought us as a present
.



We have here - a large bottle of Olive oil, a jar of chick peas, three bags of beans, some cheese and a piece of Spanish ham.
