We had some margarine on hot toast the other day. It tasted like fish. It smelled like fish, too. Not very nice really, I wonder why it had such a taste?

Mr & Mrs Yao left us some hot pads last year, they are very handy these cold days. Thank you to the Yao’s.

It’s quite amazing, I can’t see a single Christmas tree in our street, as I look out of the front window. Is it too early? Or have people just tired of Christmas?

Junko bought the wrong kind of coffee today, she bought a packet of filter coffee rather than percolator coffee. What is the difference, you might ask. Well, filter coffee is ground very fine, so fine in fact that it all disappears through the holes in the percolator cup and ends up completely mixed with the water. You have to drink a sort of thick brown sludge. Not very nice.

This is, I think, a thing for crushing garlic. It stops you getting ‘garlic hand’, but it doesn’t work very well.
