I have to admit that I am completely unable to tell a good wine from an average one. I can tell which ones are cheap because, well, they taste like vinegar, but aside from this I am no judge of wine at all. This is fine, though, as I don’t really like any wines at all. And they all give me a headache and make me very thirsty.

On the other hand, I can tell which beers are good (in my opinion), and which ones I like. So at least I have some taste buds.

There isn’t any ice on the pond in the front garden, but the ducks on the canal can still walk from one bank to the other. However, they say it’s going to be colder once more by the end of the week. Oh dear.
