I am not that happy at the moment. Lots of things are going wrong and I’m finding it hard not to let my spirit get broken. I won’t bother you with my troubles, but I am struggling. It’s not been a good start to the new year.

At least the weather isn’t as horrible as it was. Actually it’s still not that pleasant, but at least it isn’t quite so cold as it has been. I never thought I would look upon a cloudy, damp, drizzly, grey day as being OK. It’s quite amazing how your perceptions change.

I drank a large glass of Bailey’s Irish Cream last night, that made me feel a bit better, for a while at least.

I found this thing in the kitchen drawer the other day. I thought it was a honey dripper, but it isn’t. Honey drippers are made of wood. They have a similar twirly bit at one end, but the other end is just a small knob to hold the tool with. What this actually is I have no idea.
