I bumped into a neighbour, Bob, this morning, he was walking to his car with some ‘rubbish’ while I was going in the same direction, in a bid to get some sense out of the bank. I stopped to chat and ask how is elderly mother was. While talking and walking towards his car I noticed that he had a large piece of stainless steel sheet in the boot, which he said he was taking to the dump. I begged it off him. The he said that he was getting rid of his oven and would I give him a hand to move it. I was happy to help. Here it is. Quite heavy. My much maligned sack truck came in very handy for this job. That sack truck is a very versatile and useful piece of equipment.

It was a chilly day today. Junko enjoyed sitting by the radiator!



The river is pretty much back to normal today.
