Building the perfect wheel
An apology. Many existing customers keep taking a look to see if the new version is available because I've been promising it for most of last year. But things aren't progressing as fast as I would like and I've missed the completion dates I've been posting here. So sorry for that. For those reading this page for the first time I'm currently updating the book to the 6th Edition. I'm reorganising the structure of the book and literally scrutinising every sentence and adding new things based on your feedback. A bigger task that I thought it would be. All purchasers of the current edition (or any previous edition) will be able to download a free copy of the new edition 6 (a full copy). I'll send an email to all existing purchasers when 6 is ready.Actually the current 5th Edition is now well established and very well received. I'm not changing any of the techniques for building in the next version, so don't delay, get the current book and get building wheels! So here is the current situation. I've just moved wheelpro.co.uk to another hosting provider because the old one was experiencing lots of problems. I've updated a lot of the back end code and could really do with giving the content an update, but that would distract me from writing the updated book so website stuff will have to wait. Edition 6 is so far looking very good. Timescale for completion? I'll try and keep to this one, I'm guessing I need 5 weeks.Roger 11th January 2013 When people watch me build a wheel they are amazed at how easy I make it look. The reality is that it is easy, it's just that too many people make it more complicated than it should be. Let me show you how I build wheels. http://www.wheelpro.co.uk/wheelbuilding/book.phphttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s-1n--L8Pjs
