Palace of Versailles

​ Palace of Versailles​ Today's our destination was the Palace of Versailles. We went there by metro and bus. I think it is the easiest and cheapest way to get there. As I had been one of a big fan of the comic "Berubara" in my youth, I felt like being Marie Antoinette at the moment I waked up! However, just after visiting the Château de Fontainebleau, the splendor delivered only emptiness. On the other hand , I loved the garden with beautiful flowers very much; while taking a walk there, I had been in the refreshing scent of lavender. In addition, the vastness of the estate was incredible.　 As for the Petit Trianon, it was much more fantastic than I had imagined; the exact scenes in "Berubara" came up to mind vividly. 当時の英文日記の再掲です。 プチトリアノンの雰囲気が大好きです。 「もう一度訪れたい場所」のひとつです。
