１．７月５日（日曜日）　第５４回松川タライ乗り競争



　当日の飛び込み参加もＯＫらしいですね。皆さんも参加して日頃のストレス発散を!!

Sunday,July 5th "The Matsukawa River Tub Races"

In Ito as a summer tourist attraction, a tub race that is fun for all has been held on the Matsukawa River which flows through the center of the city every year since June, 1956.
The contestants ride in large tubs which are 1 meter in diameter and 30 centimeters deep
with large ladles used as oars.
In Rieti City there has also been a tub race since 1969 in which a wine vat is cut in half and used as a tub.
The contestants ride the Velino River through the center of the city.
Rieti City, which became aware through the inter-national news that the same type of race was held in Ito, proposed cooperation between the cities and exchange of friendship delegates via the Foreign Ministry in April of 1980.
Later, exchanges between the two cities at the level of the local citizenry began, and in July 1981, a sister city agreement between the Ito City Tourist Association and the Rieti Sun Festival Committee was arranged and a friendship agreement was reached between the two cities in July 1985. This has ensured the strong tradition of exchanges maintained to the present.

Izu Shaboten(cactus) park excitement night tour
　
　The bus stop in the vicinity of the hotel is left at about 8 PM, and the stroll
　tour of about one hour in the Izu Shaboten (cactus) park.
Animals' ecology at night different from daytime will be seen in the park.
And, children are the aspects from a different angle and might have something
a new discovery.
However, this tour is a tour of local bus company (Tokai bus) sponsoring.

３．　伊東温泉の花火大会



　今年も、例年と同様に８月を中心に花火大会が実施されます。
　
７月３０日～３１日 伊東温泉”夢花火"
　・今年の花火大会の口火を切る花火大会です。
　　連日、約１５００発の打ち上げ花火が伊東温泉の夜空を飾ります。

８月８日　　松川・灯籠の流れ
　・無数に灯籠の光が浮かび上がる松川の夏の風物詩、灯籠流しの後に打上花火が
　　夜空を飾ります。

８月９日　　太鼓の響き
　・按針祭の前夜祭とも言えるこのイベント、威勢のある太鼓合戦の後に打上花火が
　　夜空を飾ります。

８月１０日　第６３回　按針祭・海の花火大会
　・伊東で最大のイベント”按針祭”の最後を飾る花火大会。1時間に約13,000発の花火が
　　海上6ヵ所より同時に打ち上がり、空中ナイアガラなども必見！盛大な夏の夜です。

８月２２日　伊東温泉　箸まつり・花火大会
　・威勢の良い神輿が街をねり歩くミコシパレード。
　　はしご乗りとともに、1,500発の打ち上げ花火と、なかなかお目にかかれない「手筒花火」
　　50本が打ち上がる花火大会です。

８月２５日　伊東温泉ラストサマー・とびっきり花火大会
　・伊東の夏のフィナーレを飾る花火大会。早打ち・スターマインなど約1,500発が打ち上がる
　　花火大会です。模擬店も沢山ありますよ

Fireworks of Ito Spa Area

Fireworks are executed centering on August as well as the ordinary year this year.
　
"Dream fireworks of Ito Spa" on 30th - 31st in July
It is fireworks that this year's fireworks start. About 1500 fire works decorate the night sky in the Ito Spa every day.

"Anjin Festival", August 8 to 10
Shogun Ieyasu Tokugawa's diplomatic advisor Miura Anjin （the Englishman William Adams） built the first Western Ships in Japan with the cooperation of the Ito shipyard located at the mouth of the Matsukawa River.
This festival commemorates the launching of these ships. During the festival lanterns are launched onto the Matsukawa River and float to the sea.
Activities include a concert and drum competition. On the 10th, there is a
ceremony and parade, and the main event is fireworks over the sea.
The fireworks are set off continuously for an hour.

"Hashi Festival", August 22th
This festival is held to show the thanks to the chopsticks (hashi) used (more than 1,000,000 a year) in Ito with dance and fireworks display.
mikoshi (a portable Shinto shrine)" parade where portable shrine with good power marches in town and it walks. 1,500 fire works and 50" Fireworks tube hand" not to be able to meet you easily are fireworks that strike it with the ladder ride.
