2009年頃からラオスでは電気オートバイ・バスが走っていました。（写真で綴るラオスその173）

​　写真は、2009年、2010年、2014年にビエンチャンで撮った電気バスです。　2009年頃から、ラオス内では電気バスや電気オートバイが目につくようになりました。ラオスに隣接している中国雲南省昆明で作られたものということでした。　日本では全く馴染みのないものでしたので、音が静かなことに驚きました。音のない電気オートバイに気づかす、ひやりとすることがしばしばでした。　当時のうわさでは、昆明では電気自動車以外は街中に乗り入れ禁止になっているという話でした。（続く）​【Bon appétit !】 　The Government of Laos has issued a new policy to promote electric vehicles which it hopes will help minimize fuel imports and reduce emissions in the country. According to the policy, issued by Prime Minister Phankham Viphavanh, electric vehicles are expected to account for one percent of all automobiles in Laos by 2025, and over 30% by 2030.
