Tax, tax and tax
Since last Friday had mid-term exam for taxation class, my brain had been filled with tax until the time. As is Japan's one, taxation of US is very complicated world. Like "Well, in this case, Section 1250 recapture must be applied", "But that case must be applied by 20% recapture", "No, there should not be recapture", etc., to grasp the very detailed IRC (Internal Revenue Code) is always challenging. Beyond that, generally speaking, to "catch figures" a professor or American friend says during the class is difficult. For example, about 1,200, a student says "twelve hundred", while a student says "one thousand two hundred". If a figure is on the paper, it is no ploblem to catch it, but a figure spoken is usually tough to catch for me (maybe for all Japanse). Anyway, I hope my score of the test would be good....From now on, I have to read the book for Monday taxation class. Also, deadline of M&A case write-up is Monday. Wednesday, I have another M&A assignment. Next Monday, I have accounting exam. I wanna go back to summer vacation days...
