How was born the Kata "Tekki" ? (Karate)

Karate Kata Tekki(1)

Today I would like to show you the video of Mr. Robert Stringham, the official instructor of the International Okinawa Karate Muso-kai Headquarters Dojo, which was uploaded to Youtube Muso-kai Karate Channel. ↓ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pASYWuF47FE What is talked about here is well-known content for Muso-kai members. However, it is surely a shocking fact for the most of Karate practioners in the world. <How was born the Kata "Tekki" ( "Naifanchi or Naihanchi")? > That's what he's talking about! In this Kata(form), the movement to raise one foot from the so-called "Kiba Dachi(sttradle leg stance)" comes out. The movement is called "Namigaeshi(Returning wave)”. It's just Namigaeshi(Returning wave)!!! Because, first of all, this Kata itself was born as a fighting method used on a small Okinawan ship in old times that advances on the waving sea. There are many Karate masters who interpret and explain about this "Namigaeshi(returning wave)" such as "It is a movement to receive lowkick." "It's a preliminary operation to kick the opponent's knee joint!! "in this world. Even when I heard such explanations like above before, I couldn't say "I see !". But what about this Video! The description of this video, the first of all,  is the content that we can understand the root of the Kata(form)  "Tekki (← Naifanchi or Naihanchi)"❕❕❕❕❕ Then, what kind of technique is the operation of "Namigaeshi(returning wave)"? What kind of interpretation is the other movements in this Kata? If you would like to know it, please contact to the Muso-kai.  Muso-kai Official HP >https://musokai.storeinfo.jo/
