However, it is surely a shocking fact for the most of Karate practioners in the world. <How was born the Kata "Tekki" ( "Naifanchi or Naihanchi")? > That's what he's talking about! In this Kata(form), the movement to raise one foot from the so-called "Kiba Dachi（sttradle leg stance）" comes out. The movement is called "Namigaeshi（Returning wave）”. It's just Namigaeshi（Returning wave）!!! Because, first of all, this Kata itself was born as a fighting method used on a small Okinawan ship in old times that advances on the waving sea.  There are many Karate masters who interpret and explain about this "Namigaeshi(returning wave)" such as "It is a movement to receive lowkick." "It's a preliminary operation to kick the opponent's knee joint!! "in this world. Even when I heard such explanations like above before, I couldn't say "I see !". But what about this Video!
