Role of Those Born in Japan”You see, this country of ours, Japan, has taken on a missionthat is far, far more importantthan most of you realize. It is unlike any other country on Earth;it is not merely an island nation—it possesses its own unique spiritual characteristics. Our lives, you see,are meant to be lived in harmony with one another—free from division and discriminationbased on race, ideology,or religion. But when we live in our respective countries on Earth, with different skin colorsand choosing our own faiths, differences in how we think and feel inevitably arise, and we find ourselves unableto get along with those who think differently from us.Of course, as they say,we all share a “common wavelength”—and those who share the same wavelengthdo tend to gather together, but if we return to the fundamental truth,we realize that everythingultimately traces back to a single source. Therefore,if we look closely at humanityon this Earth we inhabitfrom that perspective,we will naturally come to understandthat everyone has been granted an equally precious life, and that each of us is reincarnatingin this wayfor the sake of our individual souls’ learning. In Japan,a unique sense of faith is deeply ingrained.Strangely enough, even though it is a non-religious country,it can be described as a generous faiththat embraces all manner of gods.As part of the process of our souls’ evolution,we need to cultivate an open heart toward beings we call “gods,”as well as a sense of reverence for the Great Sourcethat continues to watch over and nurture us.Once we take on physical bodies,it becomes difficult to believe in things we cannot see. When we were children, everything probably seemedlike a fairy tale or a magical world, but as we grow into adults,we come to thinkthat such things were merely a fantasy. There are no fairies or angels—that is the reality of this world. However,in fact, it could be saidthat this very illusion is the truth. This three-dimensional worldis one where only thingsthat are visible, that can be touched if you reach out,and for which there is evidence—only such thingsare considered to have value. That is where the great trialof our souls’ learning lies.God has granted you three forms of mercy. The process of the soul’s learningmay sometimes be painful. To attain love, there are paths where you mustexperience human suffering and sorrow. To ease that pain even a little, and to grant your lifemoments of heartfelt fulfillment,God has bestowed upon humanitythree forms of mercy:sleep, food, and sexual desire.Appetite, the desire for sleep, and sexual desire—these are fleeting joys granted to you by Heaven. You could say they are like rewardsyou can use along the pathof your soul’s learning. Therefore, you must not becomeoverwhelmed by these mercies from Heaven.Humans tend to chase after what is visible, and, blinded by it,they end up living their lives meaninglessly—a cycle that repeats itself time and again. As a human being, you have appeared in this world, but you do not existsolely to eat, to sleep,or for sexual union.Rather, it is important to realizethat, as a living being, the preservation of the species takes priority.Your true purpose in life, you see,is the evolution of your soul—to pour out your own loveand use it for others. This is the true reasonfor your existence as an eternal being. Now, if you look back on your lifeand ask yourself,“What am I living for?”what will you find there?Heaven’s mercy is not the goal;it is,rather, a respite. What you should never forgetin your heart each dayis that you yourself liveby the power of love from the Great Source, bestowed upon you by Heaven. That very same power stirs within you, eager to manifest itselffor the sake of others at any moment.Yet you yourself, shut away in your own desiresand within your shell, walk around cloaked in a thick shellso as not to let Heaven’s precious light shine outward. You draw a line between yourself and others,You do not open your heart, you do not accept others, you do not try to understand, and you do not even reach out your hand. You see,we are all the same.We are all equally worthy of respect, and everyone is a being who should be cherished. It is not about appearances. It is precisely because the light of Heaven dwells within usthat we allexist in this way.It is ourstubborn heartsthat continue to cause chaos on Earth. The turmoil on Earthcan be said to be the result of the turmoil in our heartstransforming into a massive, unshakable massthat has spread across the Earth.Your hearts are always tightly closed off,and the moment you find even the slightest difference from yourself, you build a wall. That is not how it is.All of us living beingsare, in our true form, spheres of light that fly about freely and unhindered.Such spheres of lightare dwelling in physical bodies as human beingsall over this world. You must not forget that. And among you, those born and raised in Japan—the fact that you chose this land of Japanin this very erais the result of your own choice.Together with those of us who watch over Japan, over a long period of time from now on,as if to demonstrate the true workings of lifefrom Japan to the world,we must expressa single, strong bond of love.We possess a power that transcends all things;that power will enable usto overcome any event in this world.Within youlies the light of a proud spiritthat decided to be born in Japan. There is no need to degrade yourselfby becoming mired in the third dimension. The purpose of your lifeis simply to amplify the power of love.Without love, what can you possibly gain?If you merely chase after visible thingsand acquire them, what connection does your lovehave to any of that?To those who chose Japan:Now is the time for true awakening. We know that some look upon thosewho convey such messageswith suspicion. There is only one reason for this:there is no concrete evidenceto />come from beings beyond the visible realm.Your heart must know this—that our wordscome from those who truly wishfor your happy futureand for the survival of this Earth. To those who believe,we will continue to speak.Earth, like Mardek (Note 1) of old,is on the brink of extinction. The only thing that can save itis the love that those living on this Earthhold for the Earth itselfand for all life on the planet—the power of that love. There is nothing else. What is so suspicious about those who speak of love?Right now, both Japan and the worldare full of people who pretend to believe in love. When people display acts of love, everyone praises them as wonderful. However, this is entirely separate from what they actually do themselves;it ends with nothing morethan simply evaluating others. If we are, at our core, beings of light called love,it is only by demonstrating that lightthat your own radiance will emerge. When others perform acts of love,it simply means that their lightgrows even brighter;you, however, will becomeas radiant as your own actions warrant. You chose Japanso that you could use your lovefor this Earthand for its people.Unless you realize thisand demonstrate it through your actions, you will never truly know love. Our wordswill descend upon those who believe. It’s okay if some do not believe;you are not required to believe. However,if you feel you can believe,I hope that you, too, will follow our wordsand bring forthyour true self—the self of love—even if only little by little.I am certain you willbe proud of that version of yourself. To the people of Japan:Believe in yourselves, use your hands and feet, and reveal your true nature. That will surelylead you to greater heights.Such is the nature of the soul’s learning. You cannot evolve through anything other than your actions. Please do not forget this.
