Expo'70 commemorative park / 万博記念公園
Hey guys! It's already 2019! And, this kind of holidays is one of the best days to go around Japan. So, I'll recommend this park to you. It's called 万博記念公園 (banpkaku kinenkouen) or Expo'70 commemorative park located at Suita, Japan. It is north of Osaka (about 15 km from Umeda).I came here last month and it's so beautiful that you can relax while walking around the park. Walking the park was pleasant and the Tower of the Sun was really beautiful. The flowers were magnificent. The other sections were also beautiful but we couldn't stop by because time was running out. The garden itself was huge but still good for walking. Loved the huge open fields and there were of scenic picnics spots - under blooming trees, on top of small hills, next to the beautiful stream, and so on.The park also have some museums like the National Museum of Ethnology which a huge exhibition of artifacts from all around the world, and the Japan Folks Crafts with a permanent collection of ceramics, textiles, paintings, and other arts and crafts that you can enjoy.Outside the park's main gate, there is a large shopping and entertainment complex, called Expocity. The main itself is a 3-story indoor shopping center. The shopping mall is surrounded by several other attractions, including the Nifrel aquarium that features art-like displays and a design without barriers that lets animals and humans commingle; The Japan's largest Ferris wheel; and many more. It's really a nice and beautiful place for adults and children to go around. Wished we have arrived earlier to enjoy the whole facility. I recommend visiting the park for at least 3-4 hours as you could spend all that time in the museum alone. To enter the park, you just have to pay a small fee at the central gate. It's totally worth a visit! And, that's all for today. This is Makimoto, in charge for today's blog. Thank you for reading! ♡
