Had a good news from my old friend today.Her name is Anella,who I told you before,has released a CD,‘The Island of Angels’,and what's more,which has been nominated on 9th anual Hawaii Music Awards! Anella's history; Born in Japan,studied Hawaiian music at‘ Kainoa Music Academy’,started gigs in Tokyo since 1996.Released CDs as;‘Kainoa’(2000),‘Kainoa Soul Friends’(2002),‘Kainoa Blues & Rock Friends’(2005),‘The Island of Angels’(2005),all from RatsPack Records Company. Mr.Jonny Kai,the head of H.M.A.(Hawaii Music Awards),admires Anella's new CD & also says that her new sound just reminds us of ‘Waikiki’ that has been put in a new city-life with hotells & buildings. Anella & I used to study in the same class-room & at the same club-activity,English-club.She was fluent in English,which was so cool.I new she would be some one of English user one day but,oh,boy,she's finally been a Hawaiian-singer!I'm proud of the way she goes.
