According to Google, natural links leading back to your site are definitely something to strive for. It’s not just about creating quality content, but also about knowing your audience, to the extent that the content is useful and has more chances to be ranked higher in the search results for the relevant queries. Stay on top of relevant trends, create “how-to” blog posts, and frequently update older content to make sure you’re continuing to serve your audience with useful and timely information even after it’s initially published. A site can never have enough content. There is always an opportunity to create new pieces of content, and the newness – or ‘freshness’ – of content is also one of Google’s ranking signals. Researching youraudience will give you an idea of their interests, wants, needs and how they respond to certain words and phrases. Doing A/B testing is a great way to see what title is most successful with your audience.

Planning the Takeover

By limiting your SEO efforts to Google, you might be missing out on some great opportunities for small business growth. Think long term rather than short term. Short term will get you nowhere with SEO. Every piece of content should have the user in mind. This also applies to SEO. You can’t create your next piece of content, or carry out keyword research, without knowing your audience. No website in a competitive market gets valuable traffic from Google in 2017 without a lot of work, technical work and content curation. Head terms are searched more frequently, have less words (3 or less in most cases) and are often much more generic and competitive as a result. Long-tail terms are longer phrases (commonly over 3 words) and more specific. While long-tail keywords are usually less popular, we can usually tell exactly what the searcher is after.

Dynamic vs Static- Which is preferred?

You should make sure that all of your websites (if you have more than one) link to each other, as this search engines can often base page ranking on how many links you have with other sites. This is especially the case if the two websites have similar content and share major keywords. One common SEO issue that can be tackled is duplicate content. This is when there is more than one way to reach the same content on your site. If a given site targets users in a particular location, webmasters can provide Google with information that will help determine how that site appears in its country-specific search results, and also improve Google search results for geographic queries. You can read an offsite SEO beginners guide here. The days of hiring freelancers to create hundreds of small keyword-stuffed articles are over. Optimizing a blog is very similar to optimizing a website, and optimizing a blog post similar to optimizing a web page. But depending on the blogging service or software you use, the results may look somewhat different.

Does Blog commenting play a vital role in SEO?

According to Gaz Hall, a UK SEO Consultant : "The benefits of guest blogging are endless and often underrated. By tapping into already established communities, you can increase your reputation, build high-quality backlinks, get more exposure to your website and much more." Buying backlinks can and does work, however, there’s a substantial risk involved if you buy low quality ones and/or from people who openly sell them. If their website gets penalised, you’re in trouble too. The problem is, not all backlinks are the same. A large and authoritative site in your niche may be more powerful than many general blogs with little or spammy backlinks. It’s important not to waste your time creating content for sites that won’t help you rank, but how do you determine if a site is worth getting a link from? Search Engine has become more smarter New Rules of SEO have been implemented or will soon be implemented—-It means old rules are of less use or outdated. It is necessary to understand and learn these new rules to maximize return on Investment on the biggest platform of the Universe—Google. In Google search results, you only have space for 70 characters in your title. If your title is longer than that, it gets truncated (meaning the end will be “….”). (Previous estimates put this number at 50 to 60 characters, but Google recently expanded the width of the search results, and therefore can show slightly longer titles.)

Be very sure of what you are writing

Discover your LSI keywords and make sure you use these throughout your article. Particularly in the first paragraph of text, the body of content, for links anchor texts and in the last paragraph of text. You can stop improving certain pages, but the site as a whole can always be improved. Don't limit your ideas; brainstorm whatever subjects and phrases could lead the kinds of visitors you want to your site. Type them into a spreadsheet. Your brainstorming will "prime the keyword pump." Whether you should go after long tail keywords, which are specific and consist of multiple words, or after head terms largely depends on your competition. If you website is new, however, or you have a low domain authority, just posting a blog to your site is going to have hardly any benefit from an SEO perspective.

Good Content Will Still Need ‘Optimised

Build links as if Google didn’t even exist – links that will bring you customers in addition to rankings. Spam links often go both ways. A website that links to spam is likely spam itself, and in turn often has many spam sites linking back to it. Natural, relevant links to your site from reputable websites is what takes you to the top of Google. There are many ways to go about getting your site linked. Optimise your website content for the best organic reach possible. What it boils down to is that the exact strategy you’re using for on-page SEO -- creating relevant, high-qulity content for a human audience -- should also help take care of your off-page SEO. It’s the classic two birds/one stone scenario. You can increase your search rankings and earn natural inbound links by creating amazing content.
