Let ’s take a trip down memory lane on crypto. I first bought Bitcoin in December 2017 at around $15,000.

It looked high, and I could have bought it cheaper months earlier at $3,000 when someone first mentioned it to me. To me, it was new. So, I spent months trying to understand what exactly it was.

People who introduced it to me could not explain what Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies were. They were more interested in selling me an MLM (multi-level marketing or network marketing) product.

For me, this was a classic time for many who jumped into the Wild West of crypto. In 2017, it was a time of a lot of speculation since Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies were still unproven, governments wanted nothing to do with it, and social media prevented crypto advertisements.
