草花の上に降りた朝露が、白く涼しく見える頃になる。夏から秋への変わり目である。「露が降りると晴れ」と言われ、朝霧は１日の天気を伝えてくれる。いよいよ秋の収穫がたけなわ、多くの旬の食材の味覚を楽しめる時である。ただし長寿には食べすぎは禁物だ。
